A boy falls in love with a girl but she ditches him and gets married and goes to US. Fate brings the boy also to US and there he meets another girl. However, the old love comes back into his life once again. Whether they get together or not forms the essence.

Story

Raghupathy (siddarth) is a qualified engineer who is on the lookout for a job and he visits his father Govindaraju (Kitti) who works with a project. Since he does not have a job, he decides to help the Chief Engineer with his computer problem and also teach his wife tennis. In this process, Raghu comes across the CE’s mischievous and innocent daughter Madhumita (Tamannah) and falls for her nature. Meanwhile, Madhu’s parents also decide to get her married to Raghu. When he goes to job to a different town and comes back, he is shocked to discover that Madhu has been engaged to one RK from the US. Raghu is shattered and feels betrayed by Madhu. He decides to attempt suicide but then is saved by his father. He begins to build confidence and wants to become something big. That brings him to New York and there he also meets the beautiful Rathna (Rukmini). Soon, she falls for his simple and good nature but as luck would have it, Raghu comes across Madhu. He also finds out that RK had been cheating on Madhu and despite he telling her, she does not understand. Meanwhile, Siddarth gets close to Rathna and they decide to get engaged. However, Madhu discovers what RK has been doing and now she wants to go back to Siddarth. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Artistes and technicians

Tamannah gave a standard performance but this time it was more of her skin show than real performance. However, her expressions at few places were nice. Siddarth looked quite weak and he did not show any energy in his performance. Moreover, his character was etched very weakly. Rukmini looks beautiful and has a sparkle in her eyes but she needs to work on her body a bit. Kitti was elegant and the others did their bit to add value to the film. The director has come out with a tragic storyline and it could have been better had he focused on the narrative properly. The script was stale, the screenplay was timid. The dialogues were embarrassing given the sleazy content in it. A relief was provided with some exceptional cinematography and scenic locations. Music was good in terms of background score and one song was neat and melodious. Editing was a total disaster and that is the main reason for the downfall of this movie. The other departments need no mention here.
