Jayam Raja had bagged the film rights of the Telugu flick Kick to be remade in Tamil. While there were reports that the director was planning to rope in Madhavan to play the lead role, he decided to keep it within the family this time too and finally signed up his brother Jayam Ravi.
The team was scouting for a suitable heroine and was in talks with three leading stars. However, the final decision has been made and Tamanna has signed the dotted lines, says sources in Kollywood. It is said that the actress will work on this remake after she completes her present assignments Kandein Kadhalai and Paiyya.
