Help needed: this copy of windows did not pass Genuine Windows validation

Hello friends,

I tried this software 'IPSharkk' someone posted in this forum. The software was supposed to change IPaddress every one hour. That did not work but that somehow caused Windows to check my copy of Windows It says 'this copy of Windows did not pass Genuine Windows validation'. In the task bar it says 'You may be a victim of software counterfeiting'.

Also I have moved to Firefox from IE, I am being asked to install WGAPluginInstall.exe. What am I supposed to do. I guess if I install that exe, Microsoft might even crash my windows or make someone visit my home This the page it is taking me to - http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/dow...itCheckError=8

Anyone experienced the same? Help

i also have the same prob dude..when starting the computer it asks u to get genuine now or resolve later..u just click resolve later..it'll be fine dont worry!!

use genuine advantage tools or vista crack.....those are available anywhere now......

Doing this 'Clicking on Resolve Later' at every start is a pain and annoying...

hi Strangerrr999, can you give us links for one or two such tools? Everywhere I checked, they say Microsoft has forced them to removed the tool. Looks like Microsoft is treating this serious.
