Steps taken to Control Spam

For now we have come up with an idea to stop spam on lazydesis. There are many ways in which people are spamming, like adding tags to mp3 songs, watermarking videos. Giving links on the comments of mp3 songs all these are tricks to spam other sites.

In order to stop this we have come with an idea of restricting access to post threads in the music and movies section.

We have finally decided on having seperate groups for music and movie uploaders. Those who are in this groups will be authorized to post threads and the rest if they want to share make sure you ask the persmissions from admins.

Replies to the threads can be made by everyone, however posting threads is restricted. Those who post in music forums are Music Uploaders, and in movies are Movie uploaders.

Hope this will work out well to stop spam.

Give us some time to decide on this and allow you ppl to post

.. in a few hours we will be done with the fomalities and we will finish the permissions thingy

Hello nothing like he Restricted you... we are changing the group permissions so we again disabled the access.so please be patient till we finish the work

ok ok thank you but i have a sendspace account i want to get more sendspace points from posting my sendspace files in forums i'll get a point for every successful download of my file by another user..

when i was posting my links in the music forum i got the message two time so i thought i've done something wrong i really don't know what happening up there

so sorry.....
